This project began as a personal initiative: I created a custom Google Sites website for my dad, who was working as an app-based private driver and needed a simple, credible way to present his services to potential clients. He relied heavily on word of mouth, and I wanted to help him stand out, communicate professionalism, and make it easier for passengers to contact him.
After completing the website and seeing how it helped him share information clearly and attract new riders, I refined and expanded the structure to turn it into a reusable template for Uber and private drivers. The final result is a clean, modern, and easy-to-edit website that serves as a digital business card for drivers who want to be found more easily and present themselves in a professional way.
A dedicated section that allows drivers to present themselves, their experience, and their service style in a friendly and trustworthy way.
Easy-to-edit blocks where drivers can specify their operating regions, working hours, and preferred routes, helping clients understand when and where they can book a ride.
A clean layout to display car photos, comfort details, safety features, and any additional services offered (e.g., executive transport, airport pickup).
Mobile-optimized CTAs that allow visitors to message, call, or reach the driver instantly. Designed to support fast decision-making.
A simple section to outline why a client should choose that driver — punctuality, safety, comfort, ratings, or unique advantages.
Short, clear answers to common questions (payment methods, availability, luggage policies, etc.) to reduce friction and build trust.
Drivers can easily update text, replace images, change colors, or add/remove sections without any technical skills.
The entire template is optimized for smartphones, ensuring smooth navigation and fast access — essential for passengers searching on the go.
Most private drivers don't have a dedicated website — they rely on social media or informal channels to communicate with potential clients. This makes it harder for passengers to understand the driver's service style, availability, or areas of operation.
In my father’s case, he needed:
✔ A simple way to share what he does
✔ A trustworthy online presence
✔ Clear contact options
✔ A structure that didn’t overwhelm users
✔ A mobile-friendly website (most clients browse on their phones)
The challenge was to turn all of this into a streamlined, friendly, and highly accessible website — something that would feel personal while still conveying professionalism.
Create a professional online presence for a private driver
Help app-based drivers present themselves more credibly than through social media alone.
Highlight essential information in a clear and simple layout
Include service areas, vehicle details, working hours, contact buttons, and key benefits.
Design a friendly, modern, and trustworthy look
Use clean typography, simple colors, and balanced spacing to create a welcoming feel.
Make the structure adaptable and easy to personalize
Ensure drivers can update text, change colors, add photos, or edit sections without technical experience.
Transform a personal project into a reusable template
Expand the original website into a flexible model that other drivers can customize for their own needs.
Support client contact and quick responses
Prioritize clear CTAs that encourage visitors to message, call, or book a ride instantly.
Because the initial project was for my dad, I had direct insight into the questions clients ask, the information drivers need to share, and the type of layout that works best for quick decision-making.
I focused on creating sections that are easy to skim: driver introduction, service areas, benefits, vehicle photos, FAQs, and contact options.
I selected typography and colors that feel friendly and trustworthy, avoiding overly corporate or cluttered layouts.
Since passengers generally search for drivers on their phones, every element — buttons, text blocks, image sizes — was optimized for small screens.
Once my dad’s website was completed and tested in real use cases, I refined the design and created a clean, modular version that any driver can easily adapt.
